April 26, 2016|Posted in: Business Services
Majority of the world’s population is women and women are seen to be undertaking more and more responsibilities on her shoulder despite the belief that women are household wives or mothers. It is seen in many institutions, governing bodies, organizations, companies, etc. women have become very important roles holding great positions. Following are few steps which will help you realize how to balance both your roles in work life and family life successfully.
Family comes always the first
Just because you take an interest in earning you cannot undervalue your responsibility towards your family. Family is where you will find the warmth, affection, love, care and etc. which are needed for the contentment of life. Life without such is not complete and those are the things that you will take with you when you die. No one will remember the value of your car when you die but they will remember what a loving mother/wife you have been throughout your lifetime. You need to understand that more than the material gains you get from your job, the emotional and spiritual gains you get from family are precious and everlasting. Therefore remember to never miss an important occasion of your family, it may be a graduation ceremony of your child or your husband’s birthday party or your child’s first day at school, these should never be missed just because you need to attend your work at office.
Best of both worlds
Putting the family first in your priority list does not mean that you can ignore your responsibilities as an employee. It is much needed that you carefully balance both your roles and make the best out of both the roles. This is somewhat a cautious task and it requires a great level of skill. First you need to understand what is needed from you from and out of each role. If you try to understand all your responsibilities with a view to the time you can allocate for them you can seek alternatives to cover your responsibilities for which you cannot make yourself available. For an example if you have a child between the ages of 2-6 you have a huge responsibility to keep your child occupied in a productive manner as it is the period where children start learning new words to speak and new things to do. If you put your child in a lively background he or she will learn many new things and that will help you to become a good mother. You can find a day care center for children which can provide the opportunity for your child to be occupied and learn new things.
A good schedule
Balancing both your responsibilities for your family and for your work place is sure to involve many tasks and in order to perform all your tasks successfully you need to be highly organized. A well planned schedule has to be prepared and you need to stick to it if you want to avoid frustration that can be caused at the end of the day due to forgetting or being unable to manage time to do your tasks.
